night to give back to jazz.
The GAM Foundation invites
you to an evening celebrating
jazz music featuring six great
performers.
MONTE ALEXANDER
Pianist Monte Alexander left Jamaica to come to the U.S. in
1964 and has been busy ever since performing, composing,
and arranging music spanning multiple genres and styles.
JOHN CLAYTON
Bassist John Clayton is a prolific composer and arranger, a
distinguished conductor and teacher, and an inspiring
performer who epitomizes the best in jazz music.
DEE DANIELS
Audiences throughout the world love Daniels’s rich, full-bodied
voice, masterful piano accompaniments, and energizing
performances.
JEFF HAMILTON
In the past year, drummer Jeff Hamilton has toured in Brazil
with Diana Krall, played on a jazz cruise in the Caribbean, and
recorded with Barbra Streisand.
HOLLY HOFMANN
Classically trained, musically adventurous, and supremely
talented, Holly Hoffman plays the jazz flute like no one else.
MIKE WOFFORD
Jill McManus of The Star Ledger gushes,"PianistWofford plays
at the heart of mainstream jazz with a graceful touch and a
fountain of beautifully executed ideas."
